I had hoped that this pattern would come up. My mom had one, made by her sister from beer caps from a family picnic many years ago. It got misplaced during the cleanup when my mom passed away recently, but at least I can now recreate it and bring back the memories.

The graps hot matt is the very fist thing I learn to crochet. I was 9 year old. And now I’m 70 yrs old. My Aunt thought me how to crochet and I still lovevworking with thread. Now I make princess dresses for new borns and christening gowns.
