Yarn needle.
Finished Circumference: 15”.
GAUGE: 13 sts = 4”; 8 rows = 4” in alternating sc & dc rows. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
HAT
Ch 2.
Round 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with a slip st.
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around; join – 12 sts.
Round 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in next st, * sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around; join – 18 sts.
Round 4: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, * sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around; join – 24 sts.

Round 5: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, * sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around; join – 30 sts.
Round 6: Ch 1, sc in first 4 sts, 2 sc in next st, * sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around; join – 36 sts.

EAR (Make 2)
Ch 2.

Flatten and shape Ears, folding both sides to center. Stitch into place on Hat. Weave in ends.
