With right sides together, fold fabric in half width-wise and pin to hold layers while cutting. Measure and mark 27½” (70 cm) wide and 30½” (77.5 cm) long; cut to these measurements. Sew with a ½” (1.5 cm) seam allowance, leaving an opening for stuffing. Turn right side out and stuff evenly to desired firmness. Fold in remaining seam allowances on open edges and sew closed.
Cover
With right sides together, fold cover in half width-wise and pin together matching stitches. With ending tail, whip stitch across 2 edges of cover. Stuff with pillow insert and sew remaining edge closed. Weave in ends.
