Little Miss Booties
These booties will make a baby girl look as special as she is! Crocheted and then trimmed with pearl beads and sheer ribbon, these are the perfect accessory for the well-dressed miss.

- RED HEART® Super Saver®: 1 skein 400 Grey Heather A, and 373 Petal Pink B
- Susan Bates® Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8] and 4.5mm [US G-7]
- Yarn needle
Additional Supplies Needed:
Six 6mm grey pearl beads 24″ (61 cm) of ¼” (6 mm) wide pink or gandy ribbon. Sewing needle, Matching sewing thread.
GAUGE: 14 sts = 4″ (10 cm). CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge given.

hdc2tog: [Yarn over, insert hook in next st, draw up a loop] twice, yarn over, draw yarn through all loops on hook.

Bootie (make 2)
With larger hook and A, ch 9.
Round 1: 2 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next 5 ch, 6 hdc in last ch, turn to work across opposite side of foundation ch, hdc in next 5 ch, 3 hdc in last ch; join with a slip st in top of beginning ch-2—22 sts.
Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in first st as, 2 dc in each of next 2 sts, dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in each of next 6 sts, dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in each of next 3 sts; join with a slip st in top of beginning ch-3—34 sts.
Round 3: Ch 2 (counts as hdc here and throughout), hdc in back loop of each st around; join with a slip st in top of beginning ch-2—34 sts.
Round 4: Ch 2, hdc in next 8 sts, [hdc2tog over next 2 sts] 8 times, hdc in next 9 sts; join with a slip st in top of beginning ch-2—26 sts.
Round 5: Ch 2, hdc in next 8 sts, [dc2tog over next 2 sts] 4 times, hdc in next 9 sts; join with a slip st in top of beginning ch-2—22 sts.
Round 6: Ch 2, hdc in next 8 sts, [dc2tog over next 2 sts] twice, hdc in next 9 sts; join with a slip st in top of beginning ch-2—20 sts.

Fasten off.

Small Rose (make 2)

Fasten off.

Roll up flowers, using yarn needle and sewing length, sew along bottom edge to hold in place. Sew onto bootie using photo for a guide.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. Using a 12” (30.5 cm) of ribbon, fold over to make a bow. With sewing needle and thread, sew onto bootie, using photo as a guide. Sew on 3 beads to center of bow.
