Supplies:

RED HEART® Buttercup™: 1 ball 4274 Petal Pink Multi OR 4272 White Coral MultiCrochet Hooks: 8mm [US L-11].

Yarn needle.

Size:  Boots should fit most babies 6-12 months. Foot Length: 4”.

GAUGE: 9 sts = 4” in sc. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the specified gauge.Special Stitch

hdc2tog = [Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop] 2 times, yarn over and draw through all 5 loops on hook

BOOTIE (make 2)

Ch 8.

Round 1: Work 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, 6 dc in last ch, turn to work along opposite side of beginning ch, dc in next 4 ch, 3 dc in last ch, slip st in top of beginning ch to join.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in back loops only in each st around, slip st in beginning ch to join.

Round 3: Ch 1, sc in next 5 sts, [hdc2tog] 4 times, sc in next 6 sts, slip st in beginning ch to join.
