GAUGE: Rows 1-7 = 3” x 5½”. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Shell = (sc, ch 2, sc) all in indicated st

Row 1: Shell in 2nd ch from hook, * ch 2, skip next 3 ch, shell in next ch; repeat from * across, slip st in same ch as last shell – 6 shells.

Row 2: Rotate to work in unused loops of beginning ch, ch 1, shell in same ch as slip st, * ch 2, skip next 3 ch, shell in next ch; repeat from * across; turn – 6 shells.
