Size: About 10” wide, 12” long.
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: Green – 2 ½ oz, 125 yd (75 g, 115 m)(Sugar ‘n Cream)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
Gauge: 3 sc = 1″, 3 rows sc = 1″.
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
DISHCLOTH
Row 1: (Right Side) Ch 21, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 18 ch, 3 sc in last ch (Mark center sc of 3-sc group), working in unused lps of starting ch on other side, sc in next 19 ch. (41 sc)
Rows 2-6: Ch 1, turn, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across to marked sc, 3 sc in marked sc (Mark center sc), [sc in next sc] across, leaving last 2 sc unworked. (41 sc)
Row 7: Ch 1, turn, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across to marked sc, 3 sc in marked sc (Mark center sc), [sc in next sc] across, leaving last 4 sc unworked. (39 sc)
Row 8: Ch 6, turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across to marked sc, 3 sc in marked sc (Mark center sc), sc in next 17 sc. Leave remaining sts unworked.(44 sc)
