After about 2 weeks of waiting I am still anxiously waiting to hear from the Guinness Book of World Records. Once I hear from them we will list more details for the event and the prizes. Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn:
Blue – 2 oz, 95 yds (57 g, 86 m)
(Sugar ‘n Cream – Robin’s Egg Blue)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
Dishcloth
Row 1:(Right Side) Ch 34, sc in 2ndch from hook, (sc in next ch) across. (33 sc)
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), turn, skip next sc, (dc in next 2 sc, ch 1, skip next sc) 10 times, dc in last sc.
Row 3:Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, (sc in ch-1 sp, sc in next 2 dc) 10 times, sc in next ch-1 sp, sc in last dc. (33 sc)
Rows 4-23: Rep Rows 2-3.
At the end of Row 23, DO NOT FINISH OFF.
Edging
Rnd 1: Ch 3, (right side facing), (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in last sc of Row 23; * working in sides of rows, ch 1, (skip sc row, 2 dc in dc row, ch 1) across to corner *; working in unused lps of starting ch, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in first ch, ch 1, (skip next ch, dc in next 2 ch, ch 1) across to last ch, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in last ch; rep from * to *; working across Row 23, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in first sc, ch 1, (skip next sc, dc in next 2 sc, ch 1) across; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends.

Quick,simple and attractive…. I love it!
This is the first one I made. I love it- works very well as a wash cloth and scrubber. Making another one for myself and considering trying a few more patterns for christmas presents.
