Happy Labor Day!

I did a little research on Labor Day and found out that it became a federal holiday in 1894 and is always celebrated on the first Monday of September.  It is a day to honor the contributions of American workers. Labor Day also symbolizes the end of summer for many Americans, and is celebrated with parties, parades and Antique Shows.  I threw the antique show in there because I am going to the Hillsville Antique Show in Hillsville, VA this weekend.  Over 500,000 people attend this event from Friday to Monday, and the booths go on for miles.

I hope you have wonderful Labor Day.
