Size:
About 9½” square.

Materials:
Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: Ombre – 2 oz, 100 yds (60 g, 92 m) (Sugar ‘n Cream – Chocolate Ombre)

Crochet Hook:
Size I-9 (5.50 mm)

Special Stitches:

Beg corner:
Ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same space.

Corner:
(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in corner space.

DISHCLOTH:

Rnd 1:
(Right Side) Ch 6, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 15 dc in ring; join with sl st to first dc. (16 dc)

Rnd 2:
Ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), [dc in next dc, ch 2] around; join. (16 dc and 16 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 3:
Sl st in first ch-2 sp, beg corner, * [ch 1, sc in next sp] 3 times, ch 1, Corner *; rep from * to * around, omitting last Corner on final repeat; join. (12 sc, 16 ch-1 sps and 4 corners)

Rnd 4:
Sl st in next dc, sl st in corner sp, beg corner , * dc in each st and sp to next corner, Corner *; rep from * to * around, omitting last corner on final repeat; join. (15 dc each side)

Rnd 5:
Sl st in next dc, sl st in corner sp, beg corner, * dc in next 5 dc, ch 1, skip next 2 dc, ([dc, ch 1] 3 times) in next dc, skip next 2 dc, dc in next 5 dc,

corner *; rep from * to * around, omitting last corner on final repeat; join. (17 dc per side)

Rnd 6:
Sl st in next dc, sl st in corner sp, ch 1, 2 sc in same sp, * sc in next 7 dc, skip next ch-1 sp, dc in next dc, [ch 1, dc in next sp, ch 1, dc in next dc] twice, skip next ch-1 sp, sc in next 7 dc, 2 sc in corner sp *; rep from * to * around, omitting last 2 sc on final repeat; join with sl st to first sc.

Rnd 7:
Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in each st and sp around; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.

    pattern is not right on round 3, count is off.
