#309 Star Spangled Crochet Dishcloth – Maggie Weldon Maggies Crochet

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2011

Designer Patti Seawright wrote: “I have been crocheting since age 6 – so 32 years. The last couple of years I have been obsessed with dishcloths. I have always wanted to design so decided to take this as my first design challenge. I used to get off the bus at my neighbor’s house. All she ever did was watch baseball and crochet. Never liked to watch baseball so I learned to crochet. My first project was a 5 point granny sewn together to make a mini Christmas stocking for the tree. I then taught my mom to crochet, then my same age cousin and taught my niece when she was 4 by putting her in my lap with my arms around her.”

Thank you Patti for joining the Dishcloth-A-Day Challenge!
