RED HEART® Super Saver®: 3 skeins 316 Soft White A, 1 skein 312 Black B, 3 skeins 400 Grey Heather C, and 2 skeins 319 Cherry Red D.

Crochet Hook: 6.5mm [US K-10.5].

Yarn needle.
Throw measures 49” x 65”.
GAUGE: 11 sts = 4”; 8 rows = 4” in pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
Special Abbreviation
FPdc (front post double crochet) = Yo, insert hook from front to back to front around post of st 2 rows below and draw up a loop, [yo and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice. Skip the st directly behind the FPdc.
THROW
With A , ch 135.
Row 1 (Right Side): Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across; turn –133 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each dc across and in top of ch-3; turn.
Row 3: Ch 2, skip first sc, FPdc, * dc in next sc, FPdc; repeat from * to last sc; hdc in last sc; turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in each st across and in top of ch-2; turn.
Row 5: Ch 2, skip first sc, dc in next sc, * FPdc, dc in next sc; repeat from * to last sc; hdc in last sc; turn.
Row 6: Repeat Row 4.
Repeat Rows 3-6 once more changing to C in last st.
Repeat Rows 3-6 for pattern and at the same time work
color sequence as follows:
* 4 rows C , 2 rows each B, D, B , 4 rows C **, 10 rows A, 2 rows each D, C, D, B, D, C, D, 10 rows A; repeat from * twice more and then from * to ** again; with A , work 8 rows. Fasten off.
Border
Round 1: With right side facing, join B in any corner; ch 1, * (sc, ch 1, sc) all in corner, sc evenly spaced to next corner; repeat from * around; join with a slip st to first sc. Fasten off.
Round 2: With right side facing, join C in any st; ch 1, sc in same st as joining, * insert hook in next st to the right and draw through a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook; repeat from * around for Reverse Sc; join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
