The response to the Facebook posting was very good. I had not discussed my idea with Wendi our pattern editor at all. The next morning we chatted by phone. Wendi said: “I see you have been busy”. I said: “What do you mean?” She had been following me all day on Facebook! I said: “oh yah, that – I have been writing really good patterns.” I felt like a little kid in trouble. I had every intention of discussing this idea with Wendi before we fully committed to the whole idea.

Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn:
Stripes – 2 oz, 95 yds (57 g, 86 m)
(Lily Sugar ‘n Cream Stripes – Pinky Stripes)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
Row 1: (Right Side) Ch 31, sc in 2nd ch from hook, (sc in next ch) across. (30 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, dc in next sc, (sc in next sc, dc in next sc) across. (30 sts)
Rows 3-26: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, dc in next sc, (sc in next dc, dc in next sc) across.
Row 27: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across, ch 16 (for hanger), join with sl st to last sc made.
Finish off and weave in ends.
