#122 Tulip Crochet Dish Cloth – Maggie Weldon Maggies Crochet

Monday May 2, 2011

Today marks the day that we are one-third of the way done with the Dishcloth-a-Day Challenge!  Thank you to everyone who has helped so far.  Now that we have the BestFreeCrochet.com website finished, I will start working on getting sponsors for the prizes.  Prizes should be posted by the end of the month.

Designer Kathleen Stuart wrote: “With spring just around the corner, I wanted to celebrate, so I made the Tulip Dishcloth. I found a pattern to make a diagonal block stitch afghan years ago. I never made a plain afghan from it, but it gave me an idea to use each block as a block in a quilt block. The tulip dishcloth idea came from a quilt block I saw in a book once. This dishcloth would be fun to make into an afghan too. I really enjoy the bright colors”.  Thanks for letting me have fun and help out with the challenge!”

Thanks for joining Kathleen.  We have all enjoyed your beautiful designs.

Follow me onto dishcloth # 123 and the rest of the story…

What ever happened that the dishcloth no longer print
    out with this nice heading?
(#122 Tulip Crochet Dish Cloth – Maggie Weldon Maggies Crochet)
Now all it prints is Best Free Crochet!!(3 times!!)
Now that is fine but WHY could it not still print out
the number & name on time the way it started out??
they did look much nicer!!:) It shows the nice heading
but when it prints out it is not the same heading!

Dorothy42 ~~ Glad to see I’m not the only one that misses the nice heading when the pattern is printed out. This new format leaves a lot to be desired. I have found that if I highlight the pattern, click file, click print preview, I can adjust the pattern to be printed WITH the heading. Lots of extra work, but it does give me the pattern WITH the heading.
