Designer Carole Sisson wrote: “Crocheting is a way of life in my senior years. I have been trying to downsize my stash of yarn by making afghans which I donate. I also make cancer caps for the Cancer Association. I have made 13 afghans for our Bingo group for prizes and I donated 11 afghans to the Nursing home of our local hospital for patients who have no visitors during Christmas. I’m not as good or as fast as I used to be but it is good therapy. This dishcloth is very fast and easy to make and can be made to any size. The band of hdc rows in the middle can be used to embroider initials, family name or sayings, such as “Yours”, “Mine”, “Ours”, etc.
Thank you Carole for joining the Dishcloth-A-Day Challenge.
