Size: About 7” wide and 10” long
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Orange – 2 oz, 100 yd (60 g, 92 m) (Bernat Cottontots)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
Special Stitches
Cluster (cl): Keeping last loop of each dc on hook, work 5 dc in st or sp indicated, yo and pull through 6 loops on hook.
DISHCLOTH
Row 1: (Right Side) Ch 26, (sc, ch 5, sc) in 2nd ch from hook, * ch 5, skip next 5 ch, cl in next ch, ch 5, skip next 5 ch *, (sc, [ch 5, sc] twice) in next ch; rep from * to *, (sc, ch 5, sc) in last ch.
Row 2: Ch 8 (counts as first dc and ch 5), turn, * (sc, [ch 5, sc] twice) in next cl, ch 5, skip next ch-5 lp *, cl in next sc, ch 5; rep from * to *, dc in last sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, (sc, ch 5, sc) in first dc, * ch 5, skip next ch-5 lp, cl in next sc, ch 5 *, (sc, [ch 5, sc] twice) in in next cl; rep from * to *, (sc, ch 5, sc) in last dc.
Rows 4-15: Rep Rows 2-3.
At the end of Row 15, finish off and weave in ends.
Edging
Row 16: With right side facing, join with sl st to first sc on last row, ch 8, sc in top of next cl, ch 5, skip next sc, dc in next (center) sc, ch 5, sc in top of next cl, ch 5, dc in last sc.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 3 sc in same sc, evenly sc around, working 3 sc in each corner; join with sl st to first sc.
