Size: About 9” round.
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn; Green – 2 oz, 100 yds (60 g, 92 m) Small amounts Black and White (for Eyeballs) and Yellow (for Mouth) Yarn Needle
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
DISHCLOTH
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting in center with Green, ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 11 dc in ring; join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc) JOIN ALL DC RNDS IN THIS MANNER. DO NOT TURN EACH RND.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in each dc around; join. (24 dc)
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in same dc as joining, dc in next dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc) 11 times; join. (36 dc)
Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in same dc as joining, dc in next 2 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc) 11 times; join. (48 dc)
Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc in same dc as joining, dc in next 3 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc) 11 times; join. (60 dc)
Rnd 6: Ch 3, dc in same dc as joining, dc in next 4 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc) 11 times; join. (72 dc)
Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc in same dc as joining, dc in next 5 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc) 11 times; join. (84 dc) Finish off and weave in ends.
EYES (Make 2)
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting in center, with Green, ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 15 dc in ring; join with sl st to first dc. (16 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each dc around; join with sl st to first sc. (32 sc) Finish off and weave in ends.
EYEBALLS (Make 2)
Rnd 1: Starting at center, with Black, ch 2, 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 2: With right side facing, join White with sc in any sc, 2 hdc in next sc, 2 dc in next 3 sc, 2 hdc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
MOUTH With Yellow, ** ch 1 (center ch), * ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in next 2 ch, sl st in center ch, rep from * once more, ** ch 20, rep from ** to ** once more, sl st in next 20 ch. Finish off and weave in ends.
Finishing (use photo as guide)
– Position and sew (or glue) facial features to front of Dishcloth.
