Row 1 (Right Side): 2 Dc in 3rd ch from hook, skip next 2 ch, * (sc, 2 dc) in next ch, skip next 2 ch; repeat from * to last ch; sc in last ch; turn – 91 sts.
Row 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in first sc, skip next 2 dc, * (sc, 2 dc) in next sc, skip next 2 dc; repeat from * to last st; sc in top of ch-2; turn. Repeat Row 2 until afghan measures 52” [132cm] from beginning, end wrong side row.
Border
Round 1: Ch 3, dc in each dc and each sc across to next corner, ch 2, dc in each row end down length to next corner, ch 2, working across bottom of foundation ch, dc in first ch, 3 dc in base of each 3-st group across to last ch, dc in last ch, ch 2, dc in each row end up length to next corner, ch 2; join with a slip st to top of ch-3.
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in each dc around and 4 dc in each corner ch-2 space; join to top of ch-3. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
