Sunday April 3, 2011 – Wendi, Carol Ballard and I have designed most of the dishcloths for the Dishcloth-a-Day Challenge. This month we will run out of dishcloths unless we get more people participating in the challenge. The new template for BestFreeCrochet.com is complete but now we need to have it coded into wordpress. As soon as this is done we will post prizes etc… Thank you to everyone who has sent in dishcloths to share with fellow crocheters.
Follow me onto dishcloth #94 and the rest of the story…

Enjoy,

hello i came thinking i had missed two days
what happened to PATTERN 93 i love looking and copying then trying them WELL off to get my spring cleaning done IT IS ALMOST FIESTA HERE>>>
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Yellow, ch 5, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 3, keeping last lp each st on hook work 2 dc in ring, yo, draw through 3 lps on hook, (ch 3, cl in ring) 4 times, ch 3; join with sl st to top of first cl. (6 cl, 6 ch-3 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.
Shouldn’t it be (ch3, cl in ring) *5* times, instead of 4? Doing it 4 times makes 5 total clusters. 🙂
Rnd 5: Sl st to next sc (first sc of 2-sc group), ch 3, dc in same sc, * ch 1, 2 dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next 2 sc, ch 1, skip next sc, hdc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc; rep from * around, omitting last 2 dc on final repeat; join with sl st to first dc.
Should be: * ch 1 ,)))skip next dc(((, 2 dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next 2 sc, ch 1, skip next sc, hdc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc; rep from *
I really like the way this one works up AND the finished product! I see it as a super pattern to use up scraps in other color combinations.
