Size:
About 8” square.

Materials:
Worsted Weight Cotton: Off-White – 1½ oz, 75 yd (45 g, 69 m); Variegated – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m)(Sugar ‘n Cream – Soft Ecru, Oriental Ochre)

Crochet Hook:
Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH

Rnd 1:
(Right Side) Starting at center, with Off-White, ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 3, 2 dc in ring, ch 2, [3 dc in ring, ch 2] 3 times; join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc and 4 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 2:
Sl st in next 2 dc, sl st in ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, ch 1, [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1] around; join. (24 dc, 4 ch-1 sps and 4 corner ch-2 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 3:
With right side facing, join Variegated with sc to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 2, sc in same sp, * ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next dc, skip next dc; working in front of ch-sp, 3 tr in center dc of next 3-dc group on rnd before last; on this round, skip next dc, sc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc **, (sc, ch 2, sc) in next corner ch-2 sp; rep from * 3 times, ending at ** on final repeat; join with sl st to first sc. (12 tr and 16 sc)

Rnd 4:
Sl st in next ch-sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 2, sc) in same sp, * ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-sp, ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next tr, ch 1, skip next tr, sc in next tr, ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-sp, ch 1, skip next sc **, (sc, ch 2, sc) in next corner ch-sp; rep from * 3 times, ending at ** on final repeat; join. (24 sc, 20 ch-1 sps and 4 corner ch-2 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 5:
With right side facing,  working in ch-sps, join Off-White with sl st to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, * [ch 1, skip next ch-1 sp, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp] twice, ch 1 **, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-sp; rep from * 3 times, ending at ** on final repeat; join.

Rnd 6:
Sl st in next 2 dc, sl st in ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, * [ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp] 3 times, ch 1 **, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-sp; rep from * 3 times, ending at ** on final repeat; join.

Rnd 7:
Sl st in next 2 dc, sl st in ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, * [ch 1,  3 dc in next ch-1 sp] 4 times, ch 1 **, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-sp; rep from * 3 times, ending at ** on final repeat; join.

Rnd 8:
With right side facing, join Variegated with sc to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 2, sc in same sp, * [ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next dc, skip next dc; working in front of ch-sp, 3 tr in center dc of next 3-dc group on rnd before last] 5 times; on this round, skip next dc, sc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc **, (sc, ch 2, sc) in next corner ch-2 sp; rep from * 3 times, ending at ** on final repeat; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.

    No idea what happened here, I love whats pictured but mine wasnt coming out 🙁 user error/or pattern or maybe both. Lovely work tho.
