I found one similar to this in my grandma’s old crochet books, and what they did was make 2, and sew them together, to make a potholder! They work very well, whether for setting hot dishes on or for using to protect your hands when removing hot dishes from the oven. It’s a GREAT pattern and I’m glad to see it circulating for a new generation!
