Love it! Can’t wait to make a bunch of these for our local women’s shelter.
My stash of yarn contains only 4-ply yarn, so I used 3 strands as the directions indicated. I think this is why it took me longer than 60 minutes to crochet the hat – I’m particular – yarn kept twisting, so I had to take several breaks to untwist it. The end result is really cute, and even though it took longer than 60 minutes, I’m going to make at least one more tonight. Sure wish this pattern had been available BEFORE x-mas! 🙂 Thanks for the great pattern, Maggie!
thanks for telling me this it is longer than two hours for me and i gave up to go to bed… im doing th e three also strands that is… it is a little bigger than macroon also im enjoying the patterns and also the FAMILY FEELING of talking to other crochetters … my sr center is not so nice it is wild to have this here…
I hope I am able to make this for my daughter. I have never followed directions, I just crochet. I am looking forward to giving this to her as she has ask a co-worker to make her one. Thank you so much for all the encouragement and instructions you give away. Your a real Crochet Angel.
