Holding wrong sides of Squares 1 and 2 together and working in both loops of both squares for each st, with color I, join bottom of Square 1 to top of Square 2 as follows: Slip st in ch st before first dc of edge, ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 2 dc, [sc in next ch, sc in next dc] 11 times, sc in next ch, sc in next 2 dc, sc in next ch – 29 sc. Fasten off. Join Square 3 to Square 2, Square 4 to Square 3, and Square 5 to Square 4 in same manner. This is the first strip of afghan. Repeat with Squares 6-10, Squares 11-15, and Squares 16-20 for the other 3 strips.
