Size: One size fits most Adults.
Materials: Yarn Needle; Bulky Weight Yarn – 2 ¼ oz, 101 yd (63 g, 91 m).
Crochet Hook: Size J-10 (6.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 5 post sts & Rnds 1-4 = 2”
Special Stitches
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc):
Yo, insert hook in front of work from right to left around next dc of previous row, yo, draw up a lp, (yo, draw through 2 lps) twice.
Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc):
Yo, insert hook in back of work from right to left around next dc of previous row, yo, draw up a lp, (yo, draw through 2 lps) twice.
Mitts (Make 2)
Rnd 1: Ch 20, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), dc in each ch around; join with sl st to first dc. (20 dc)
Rnds 2-4: Ch 2 (counts as first bpdc, now and throughout), fpdc in next st, (bpdc in next st, fpdc in next st) around; join with sl st to first dc. (20 sts)
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, hdc in each st around. (1 sc and 19 hdc) DO NOT JOIN, MARK ENDS OF RNDS.
Rnd 6: Hdc in next sc, hdc in each hdc around.
(20 hdc)
Rnds 7-9: Hdc in each hdc around. (20 hdc)
Rnd 10: Ch 2, skip next 2 hdc, hdc in each hdc around. (18 hdc)
Rnd 11: Hdc in next 2 ch, hdc in each hdc around. (20 hdc)
Rnds 12-13: Hdc in each hdc around. (20 hdc)
Rnd 14: Hdc in each hdc around, sc in next hdc, sl st in next hdc. (20 hdc, 1 sc and 1 sl st)
Rnd 15: Rep Rnd 2. Finish off and weave in ends.
