Size: About 8” wide by 10” long
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Yellow – 2 oz, 100 yd (60 g, 92 m); (Sugar ‘n Cream)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
Special Stitches
Puff Stitch (puff): Yo, draw up lp in next st or sp indicated, [yo, draw up lp in same st or sp] twice, yo and pull through 7 loops on hook.
DISHCLOTH
Row 1: (Right Side) Ch 26, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [skip next 2 ch, (puff, [ch 2, puff] twice) in next ch, ch 1, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch] across.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, dc in first sc, ch 2, skip next puff, sc in next puff, ch 2, [3 dc in next sc, ch 2, skip next puff, sc in next puff, ch 2] across to last sc, 2 dc in last sc.
Row 3: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), turn, puff in first dc, ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next sc, * (puff, [ch 2, puff] twice) in center dc of next 3-dc group, ch 1, sc in next sc; rep from * across, ending with skip next dc, (puff, ch 2, dc) in last dc.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, ch 2, 3 dc in next sc, ch 2, [skip next puff, sc in next puff, ch 2, 3 dc in next sc, ch 2] across, ending with sc in last dc.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, * (puff, [ch 2, puff] twice) in center dc of next 3-dc group, ch 1, sc in next sc; rep from * across.
Rows 6-21: Rep Rows 2-5 four times.
At the end of Row 21, finish off and weave in ends.
