Throw measures 46” wide x 56” long.
GAUGE: 12 dc = 4”; 8 rows = 4”. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the specified gauge.

Puff: [Yo, draw up loop in st] 3 times, yo, draw through 6 loops on hook, yo, draw through 2 loops on hook.

Puff Cluster: ([Puff, ch 3] twice, Puff) all in same st.

Picot: Ch 3, slip st in 3rd ch from hook.

Puff Fan: ([Puff, picot] 4 times, puff) all in same st.

Row 1: Dc in 5th ch from hook, *dc in next 2 ch, skip next 3 ch, Puff Cluster in next ch, skip next 3 ch, dc in next 5 ch; repeat from * across to last 13 ch, dc in next 2 ch, skip next 3 ch, Puff Cluster in next ch, skip next 3 ch, dc in next 4 ch – 85 dc; 12 puff clusters.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), turn, dc in next 3 dc, *ch 3, sc in center Puff, ch 3, dc in next 7 dc; repeat from * across to last Puff Cluster, ch 3, sc in center puff, ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, dc in top of beginning ch.
